Frequently Asked Questions

What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM that you activate by scanning a QR code sent to your email after purchase. No physical SIM card needed! It allows you to switch between countries without swapping SIM cards while enjoying local data rates.
Is my device eSIM compatible?

Check if your device supports eSIM by dialing *#06# on your phone. If you see a 32-digit EID number, your device supports eSIM.

iPhone Models:

  • iPhone XR / XS and newer
  • iPhone 11 series and all subsequent models
  • iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad, iPad Mini (Wi-Fi + Cellular models only)

Android Models:

  • Google Pixel 4 and newer
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 series and newer
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold/Flip series
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series
Note: Locked phones and devices from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau do not support eSIM.
How will I receive my eSIM?
Your eSIM will be delivered to your email. Copy the redemption code and visit https://esimexchange.com/ to convert it to a QR code. Then scan the QR code with your phone to activate it.
When should I install my eSIM?
You can install your eSIM anytime, but we recommend installing it while connected to Wi-Fi in the country where you'll use it (preferably not at the airport). The eSIM activates when it connects to the supported network, and validity days begin once activated.
How do I know if my eSIM is active?
Check your device's network settings. If it shows the network name and you have signal bars, you're good to go!
Can I use my existing SIM card with the eSIM?
Yes! You can keep your existing SIM card active while using the eSIM. However, only one eSIM can be bound to one phone, and only one eSIM can be used at a time.
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies vary based on your situation. If you haven't redeemed your eSIM to a QR code, you may be eligible for a full refund. Once redeemed or activated, different policies apply. Please contact customer service for assistance with refund requests.
